The above image is the matte painting. I did some fine detailing.I added rocks and made some color corrections to get an illusion of night sky.I painted cloudy sky.I researched for night lighting and how the waves behave during the night.

Generally we see digital painting in one single image only but it is different and good idea because it is day and night image. It is difficult to draw in both views.
