Where sky meets land

Software Used: Adobe Photoshop CS3
It took a week to sketch and paint the landscape. The Theme is "Where Sky meets Land".  The thought i got from when i visited to Kerela last year. The name of the place is susidal point.

Award for Best Live action Film

Feeling really great as our Short Film "WARNING" got the First Prize in the Live-Action Category at the prestigious Creative Minds-2011 Competition after Beating 13 Nominated Films in it.
This competition is from the West Region which includes all the Arena Animation Centers from the regions Maharashtra,Gujarat,Rajasthan,Madhya Pradesh.

Hey guys,

Final Description of the rendered image. 
It took nearly a couple month to paint this(Four hours on weekends),face took most of time to paint.The character should look like teenage.Accidentally,started as Teenage but ended some more years ahead of teenage. Thinking of facial characteristics of Asian.Little fair and handsome.Inspired from a annual show where a group of band of artists performed amazingly.Also took some references from a roadside pavements in countries like china and japan taken from one of my friend.Took different references of guitars and various textures and studied the technicalities.Studied the features of Chinese and Japanese people.


Drawn a rough drawing and making the light source from the left hand side,maintained the shades from brown to black.Also proved that women are difficult to draw and paint. So,hope you like it.

Plot : An action thriller centered on a assassin who witnessed three of incidents and finally met a lawyer and assassin him.

This is one of my first movie as a contributor in the visual effects for a live action short film.I worked as a visual effects artist along with two of my colleagues.Hope you like it.

Done with Intous 4 and it has been a long time for posting new work.I sketched it first and and started to paint.I followed a PDF as a reference.The duration to paint this has taken nearly 12 hours.

2D Short Film "The Earth".

Story:The story is about little fish which feels guilt about "The Earth" which has been damaged by the careless humans.

Technicalities Used : Adobe Photoshop,Adobe Illustrator,Adobe Flash,Adobe After Effects,Sound Forge,Adobe Perimere,Obviously Pencil and Paper.

Experience:This is my experience in 2D short film.I worked as an animation supervisor and also worked as a compositor.The movie has taken about six months to complete.It has been a nice experience to work with the Director "Mithilesh Garewal" and other team members.
I lead a team of six animators in the project.Hope you like.

The Valley

A long wait on the blog.
This is my first Matte Painting.I want to show the valley in the time of spring season.Collected many images of small huts of various islands.

Used nearly as many as references to build this matte painting for studying of lighting.

It has taken a time period of nearly two months of collecting various photographs and i compiled it in photoshop with some brush strokes.
